Nordic colors

The **Nordic colours** are the specific national palettes carried by the Nordic cross flags of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Each is built on the same off-centred cross, with a distinct colour combination signifying the nation: red and white for Denmark, blue and yellow for Sweden, red, white and blue for Norway and Iceland, blue and white for Finland, and red, white and blue for the Faroes.

**Example**: The pairing of blue cross on white field identifies Finland, while red cross on white field identifies Denmark.
